Privacy policy
I collect only what I need to answer your enquiry and run your project, I never sell it, and you can ask to see or delete it at any time.
Who I am
Fidgety Pixels Ltd (“I”, “me”) is a marketing and design studio in Southsea, Portsmouth, run by Phil Shenton. I am the data controller for what this website collects. Contact: info@fidgetypixels.co.uk or 07822 032 622.
What I collect and why
| What | Why | Lawful basis |
|---|---|---|
| Enquiry form and email: name, email, phone, your message | To reply, quote and, if you become a client, run the project and send invoices | Legitimate interests; contract once you are a client |
| Analytics (Google Analytics 4), only if you accept: pages visited, device, rough location, how you arrived | To see how the site is used and improve it | Your consent |
| Embedded video and maps (Vimeo, YouTube, Google Maps), only if you accept | To play embedded content; those services may receive your IP address and set cookies | Your consent |
| Server logs: IP address and browser details, kept by the hosting company | Security and keeping the site running | Legitimate interests |
| Client records: contact details, project files and invoices | To deliver the work, keep accounts and meet tax law | Contract; legal obligation |
I don’t sell or rent personal data, and I don’t send marketing emails unless you have asked for them.
Who I share it with
Only suppliers needed to run the business: web hosting (SiteGround), email and file storage (Google), accounting software, and, if you accept the relevant cookies, Google Analytics and the video and map providers above. Some of these are based outside the UK; where they are, they rely on safeguards such as the UK data transfer arrangements.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that don’t lead to work: up to 12 months. Client records and invoices: six years after the work ends, as required for accounts. Analytics data: 14 months, then it is deleted automatically.
Your rights
You can ask me to see, correct, delete or restrict the personal data I hold about you, to object to how I use it, and to withdraw consent at any time (see the cookie policy). Email info@fidgetypixels.co.uk and I will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how I have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
