What They Needed

Pretty Scruffy is the textile menagerie of artist Bryony Jennings. She sells one-off pieces in small batches, runs workshops through the year, and needed a website that could handle both without her having to think about it.

What I Did

I built the website in 2020 and set up the shop that autumn, with a workshops page and email sign-ups connected to her mailing list. The site is busiest on sale days, so it has to hold up when a batch goes live.

Since then I’ve kept it working on a support plan: a payment gateway upgrade, WooCommerce fixes, updated policies, a PayPal switch when the old plugin was retired, and Yoast and Site Kit added in 2026 so search and analytics are properly set up. Each year’s workshop dates go on the site before the next sale.

Let’s have a chat

Twenty minutes, no pitch. I’ll tell you what would actually move the needle, what it’d cost, and — if the honest answer is “nothing yet” — that.

No hard sell. No contract to sign today.

“Fantastic service and delivered amazing results. We are very pleased with our new website design. Highly recommended.”
