What They Needed
IFS are independent financial advisers covering retirement and later-life planning. Their website was big, around sixty pages, and it needed rebuilding properly, with a refreshed logo, adviser bios, testimonials, a map on the contact page and a client downloads area.
What I Did
I redrew and refreshed the logo first, then built the site from a shared content and layout document, working through seven rounds of feedback with their technical director so nothing was signed off by guesswork. Services became tiles rather than a separate page. A Market Commentary section gives them somewhere to add fresh content every month, and stock photography was chosen page by page.
I ran the go-live checks, redirects and analytics and set it live in October 2024. Since then the news page has been kept current under a support plan, with a downloads page the next job on the list.
Part Of A Family Of Sites
This site shares its underlying template with Emsworth Corporate Planning and Harbourside Legal. I manage all three together, so a wording change, a compliance update or a security patch can be rolled out across every site in one pass instead of being repeated three times.
